Während die Exposition nackter Körper in der bildenden Kunst mittlerweile seit Jahren legitimiert ist und auch in Print- und TV-Werbung mittlerweile als alltäglich wahrgenommen wird, wird die explizite Darstellung von Geschlechtsteilen und/oder dem Geschlechtsakt im Kunstkontext immer noch ab- und ausgegrenzt. Auf der Theaterbühne sorgt sie sogar noch regelmäßig für Skandale, wie vor allem die Berichterstattung der Boulevardpresse eindrucksvoll beweist. Oftmals werden dabei Nacktheit, Erotik, Obszönität und Sexualität als theatrale Stilmittel für eine Entwicklung des Regietheaters der letzten zwanzig Jahre gehalten. Sie gelten häufig als Inbegriff eines ‚Schmuddeltheaters', dessen Regisseure beschuldigt werden, um des Skandals willen nackte Körper einzusetzen. Für viel Aufruhe und Ärgernisse bezüglich der Explizitheit ihrer Darstellungen sorgten auch La Fura dels Baus, die bei der Deutschlandpremiere ihres Stücks XXX im Juni 2002 im Frankfurter Schauspielhaus wegen harter Sexszenen auf der Bühne einen Skandal ausgelöst hatten. Dieses Stück soll im Fokus der vorliegenden Arbeit stehen. Nach einem kurzen geschichtlichen Überblick über die Entwicklung pornografischer Elemente auf der Theaterbühne möchte ich herausarbeiten, was die Aussagen und die Grundhaltungen von La Fura dels Baus sind und welche Wirkungsebenen das pornografische in ihrer Inszenierung XXX mit sich bringt.
